The University of Vermont Health Network - Elizabethtown Community Hospital (ECH)’s pharmacy supports all aspects of pharmaceutical care for each facility in the network—from filling prescriptions to overseeing chemotherapy and infusion services.

Our Pharmacists

ECH pharmacists have extensive training and experience. They work with physicians and nurses throughout all of our facilities – in the emergency department, chemotherapy and infusion department, specialty physician clinics, the inpatient unit at the main facility in Elizabethtown, and the observation unit at the Ticonderoga Campus.

Pharmacists confer with physicians, physician assistants, specialists, nurse practitioners, and nurses to support patient care throughout the organization. They also are available to help in patient care, answering questions about dosage and medication side effects.
