ECH to Host Mental Health & Wellness Events Next Week

The University of Vermont Health Network - Elizabethtown Community Hospital will host a Mental Health & Wellness Fair next week at both its hospitals. The events, which are free and open to the public, are scheduled from 2pm - 4pm on Monday, May 20 in Elizabethtown and Thursday, May 23 in Ticonderoga. 

Elizabethtown Community Hospital quality and community benefits director, Amanada Whisher said, “In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we are happy to invite the community back to this free event to learn about all the services available to local residents. Promoting well-being and preventing mental health and substance use disorders was identified as a priority in our 2022-2024 Community Service Plan and remains a top priority for ECH and our regional partners.”

More than a two dozen local health and wellness agencies will be on hand to showcase programs and services working to keep the community healthy, including:
