Elizabethtown Community Hospital invites community members to two upcoming heart health screening events this February. These free screenings will take place from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 11, at its Ticonderoga hospital (101 Adirondack Drive) and Thursday, February 13, at its Elizabethtown hospital (75 Park Street).

Open to the public, these events offer free health assessments, including:
 

• Cholesterol, A1C and blood pressure checks
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments
• Resources on smoking cessation and the benefits of regular exercise
• Diabetes education sessions
   

No appointment necessary.

Chief Nursing Officer Julie Tromblee, RN, MSN, highlighted the importance of regular health screenings, stating, “Early detection is key to managing your health and preventing serious complications. Regular screenings, like these, can help you take control of your health and make informed decisions about your well-being.”
