Free Health Fair in Ticonderoga
Ticonderoga, NY – On Wednesday, October 30, the University of Vermont Health Network - Elizabethtown Community Hospital will host a free health fair and screening at its Ticonderoga Campus. The event is cosponsored by Elderwood at Ticonderoga and will be held in the Crowne Terrace Dining Hall of the nursing home from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
“Everyone is invited to our annual community health fair in Ticonderoga,” said Julie Tromblee, vice president and chief nursing officer at the UVM Health Network - Elizabethtown Community Hospital. “Stop in to check your blood pressure and cholesterol, and to check in with area health care organizations.”
Medical professionals will be on hand to check blood pressure, LDL cholesterol, and A1c (glucose) levels. Community vendors, health education demonstrations, and refreshments will also be available.
